For example, one could use forecasting for scheduling, inventory, budgetary, and circulation planning. This webinar will serve as an introduction to forecasting methods and ways to gauge whether a forecast is accurate and/or reliable.

Power Pivot is way to create a shared pivot table through multiple data sets. Measures are ways to create formulas based off a shared pivot table. The next step (next webinar) will highlight the limitations of a shared pivot table and solutions to fix this. Database relationship theory will be discussed and practiced through sample scenarios. No prior experience with database design is necessary.

"Equity, Diversity and Inclusion” Webinar with Dr. J.Q. Adams

NILRC’s Professional Development Committee is hosting the free Zoom presentation “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion” with Dr. J.Q. Adams on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dr. Adams, professor emeritus, educational and interdisciplinary studies, Western Illinois University, will explore questions about equity, diversity and inclusion means to individuals, libraries and institutions. Opening remarks begin at 9:45 a.m., Dr. Adams will present from 10 a.m. to noon and there will be some time afterward to continue the discussion with colleagues.
